With its glorious sunshine, sun-drenched sandy beaches and a perky atmosphere, Antibes is the classic French Riviera resort town. It is everything one wants in a summer vacation destination. Don't miss out on visiting the stunning Musee Picasso. It is home to the Chateau Grimaldi, a remarkable stone castle with stunning views of the sea. The museum showcases an elaborate knowledge into the work generated by Picasso, while he lived in the Cote d'Azur. The museum also houses a brilliant collection of contemporary art including pieces from the most significant movements of the 20th and 21st centuries. Another stunning museum to visit is the Musee Peynet for it exhibits a collection of whimsical sculptures, humorous drawings, and comic strips. Launched in 1995, it is devoted to the cartoonist Raymond Peynet's work.

If you're craving for some peace and quiet, then head over to the Villa Thuret Botanic Gardens. Sprawling 5 hectares, this gorgeous botanical garden hosts a spectacular diversity of plants including several native plants that flourish in the climate of the Cap d'Antibes. Walk around the 1,600 diverse exotic species, including eucalyptus trees from Australia. One will also find an arboretum with a fascinating collection of trees and shrubs.

When it comes to shopping, head over to the Marche Provencal. As for cuisine, don't miss out on digging into delicious cuisine served in any of the restaurants dotted in the city.
